Question on Movement

I'm getting horses with "superfluous" movement from breeding stock that is "fabulously gaited." These are horses that are a generation or two out from my foundation stock or are my 2nd/3rd generation pure lines crossed on other pure lines. Will this improve as the foundies get farther back in the pedigree or is it not worth breeding horses with 'superfluous' movement because it will be passed on?



I've not worked with pures/foundies much, so help is appreciated.

Yeah it rises with training. You can train a heavy footed horse to fabulously gaited. It's movement number dictates what that box actually says. I haven't paid any attention to what the ranges are for each movement title though because I have to look at the training page to see it and I am just too lazy
